Blueberry Papaya Bowl

Being a Canadian living in Australia, I am always drawn to the tropical “Australian fruit” that is a rarity in Ontario grocery stores. With summer around the corner,  colourful tropical fruit & berries are popping everywhere. I’ve never had a papaya fruit before and on Saturday morning I was drawn to its appealing, tropical, bright, beautiful orange colour.  Sunday morning breakfast rolled around and I decided to use this beautiful looking fruit as a bowl for my oats. It was delicious, fresh & incredibly easy.

Ingredients (1 bowl)

  • ½ Papaya
  • 1/3 cup blueberries
  • Blueberry ciobani greek yoghurt
  • 1 x teas flax seed
  • 1 x teas chia seed
  • ½ cup muesli
  • Shaved coconut
  • Dash of cinnamonPapaya 3

Directions

  • Scoop out papaya seeds
  • Mix all other ingredients together
  • Serve in papaya bowl
