Zoodles, Zucchini Noodles, ‘Carb-Free’ Pasta etc. The Gefu Vegetable Spiralizer has changed my life!

Less than two weeks ago I purchased a GEFU Spiral Cutterand my life has forever been changed. GefuThis product retails for $35 and if you ask me, it’s most definitely worth its weight in gold. I stumbled across the ‘zoodle’ concept (zucchini noodles) while browsing a couple ‘raw food’ websites. As a self-confessed pasta lover, I knew I had to give it a go.

I ordered my GEFU Spiral Cutteronline Tuesday and it arrived in the post by Friday. Home alone for Friday night I decided to experiment. I sautéed the ‘zoodles’ in a frying pan with onions, mushrooms and garlic. I served them with grilled chicken breast and some organic tomato sauce. It was divine. I actually felt guilty afterwards (that’s how good it was!)
I’ve packed the zoodles twice for lunch (both times raw) and found them equally satisfying. One day I served them with pesto beans and some left over organic diced tomatoes.
The second time I served zucchini noodles with chopped tomatoes & basil and then mixed in my avocado basil pesto.

The GEFU Spiral Cutteris ridiculously easy to use, easy to clean and everything I expected.  It’s even got the man’s formal tick of approval. I highly recommend it.
